1988 Mercedes-Benz 560-Class 560 SL

Remarkable 88 560SL. Good history for the last 20 years or so, has had new or recent: Timing chains/guides, AC service, large fluids and filter service about 300 miles ago, new Michelins (wheels in excellent shape), correct spare, tools, and books, along with two keys, carpets, door cards and dash are excellent and not cracked, wood is excellent as well. Yes, odometer shows 42,700 miles, and we believe it to be correct. It adds up with the receipts. But as the car is nearly 35 years old, we are going to offer it as True Miles Unknown, to be absolutely safe (there was an odometer repair without a reset several years ago, so just want to comply with the law). AC is cold and in the right places, central locking works, Correct Becker radio is back from a fresh rebuild at Becker in New Jersey, and correct Hirschman antenna too. Cruise works properly too. Glass and trim also in excellent shape, as is softop. I have about 45 pages of service/repair records, from about 1998 forward. They are more detailed as we get into the last 5 or 8 years. Of course I have every receipt for $$ I have spent on it. Take a look at the books, data plate (both), manuals, and pouch. And I have 2 factory keys. Time machine! As you know, the prices of these cars have gone crazy over the past two to 3 years. Considering the condition, the repairs and updates already done (this cost LOTS of time and money, folks), and the miles, this car is very fairly priced in the market place.
